The long-running anime series One Piece has built up its character relationships and epic battles over its impressive run, and the upcoming video game One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 offers the chance for players to revisit the fan-favorite world in its biggest adventure yet.
Developed by Dynasty Warriors creators Koei Tecmo and featuring similar hack-and-slash action gameplay, the Pirate Warriors series allows fans to take out hordes of enemies singlehandedly. The trailer reveals a showdown between Luffy and Sanji, a storybook wedding and tons of fights with anime series' motley crew of pirate characters.
Centered on a brawl against Big Mom, the trailer showcases destructible environments and the classic characters' signature special moves.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors was published by Bandai Namco in 2015 to bestselling success and acclaim from the anime series' fans. Pirate Warriors 4 was officially announced last month at Anime Expo 2019 in Los Angeles, teasing an end to the adventures of Luffy and his friends in the video game series.
One Piece Pirate Warriors: 4 is developed by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force. It is scheduled to be released in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
