Eneru was the main antagonist of One Piece's Sky Island arc and a ruthless man who fashioned himself as a god. Such a statement wasn't far from the truth; able to teleport, predict his enemies' movements, and even unleash up to two hundred volts of electricity, he was easily the most difficult opponent Luffy faced at the time, surpassing even Crocodile.

In spite of Eneru's unimaginable strength, it is possible to defeat him (as proven by the arc's conclusion). By matching him against characters from a diverse number of universes, we can better understand the true extents of his power.

10 WOULD LOSE TO: Luffy's Body Absorbs His Attacks (One Piece)

A close up of Luffy from One Piece

The canon battle between Eneru and Luffy demonstrated a shocking revelation; the Straw Hat captain was immune to his opponent's attacks on account of his rubber body. Since it doesn't conduct electricity, he can absorb greater quantities of the god's attacks than virtually anyone else in the anime universe.

Additionally, it entails that Eneru cannot disseminate his body to avoid the hero's punches because he isn't able to phase through them. This renders Luffy the perfect counter to Skypiea's tyrant in spite of his precognitive abilities.

9 COULD BEAT: Meruem Has No Means Of Harming Him & Can't Resist His Attacks Forever (Hunter X Hunter)

Meruem grinning in HxH

Meruem has a number of advantages over Eneru, including speed, strength, durability, intelligence, and striking power. However, none of them would be useful since he relies exclusively on physical attacks for victory.

Though the King's tenacity would help him survive the god's wrath, he has a limited resistance against elemental attacks (proven through how he was defeated by Netero's bomb). Therefore, if Eneru should unleash multiple strikes at over a hundred million volts, Meruem would eventually succumb, powerless to stop him.

8 WOULD LOSE TO: Kisame Would Exploit Eneru's Weakness To Water (Naruto)

Kisame fighting team Guy with shark blade samehada in Naruto.

Kisame is one of the most qualified characters of the Naruto universe to defeat Eneru. Provided that Samehada can absorb the abilities of a devil fruit similarly to how it can soak ninjutsu, he would be able to withstand his foe's bolts of lightning and possibly even draw strength from them.

Additionally, he could exploit Eneru's weakness to water by submerging him within a gigantic aquatic dome. This would capitalize on the vulnerability of all devil fruit users, denying the villain access to his powers and effectively drowning him since he can't swim.

7 COULD BEAT: Eraserhead Doesn't Have The Striking Power To Defeat Him (My Hero Academia)

Shota Aizawa using his Erasure Quirk (My Hero Academia).

In theory, Eraserhead should be decently equipped to defeat Eneru. His quirk would force the villain not only to remain tangible but also prevent him from using his terrifying electrical attacks.

However, the god has demonstrated an unusually high amount of durability. He was capable of withstanding the brutal force of Wyper's impact dial and dozens of attacks from Monkey D. Luffy (who was strong enough to destroy Marine armadas with his bare hands and collapse Arlong park even at the time). Therefore, Eneru would be able to survive Aizawa's blows until the hero is forced to blink.

6 WOULD LOSE TO: Rohan Kishibe's Heaven's Door Could Win Without Landing A Single Strike (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)

Rohan Kishibe Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Rohan Kishibe's Heaven's Door was able to rewrite anything about his opponents, including their actions and personalities. Since this does not count as a physical attack, Eneru would not be likely to predict it with his Mantra.

The only way he could win is if he struck Rohan first. However, given his temerity and Kishibe's intelligence, the manga artist would convince him to stay his hand until his Stand applied its effect (similarly to how Nami obviated the god's wrath).

5 COULD BEAT: Bertholdt's Colossal Titan Form Couldn't Protect Him (Attack On Titan)

Eren and the Colossal Titan

The Colossal Titan is arguably the strongest of the nine in the Attack On Titan universe. Standing a towering sixty meters and capable of destroying Shigashina's wall in a single kick, few match its raw physical prowess.

However, Bertholdt's attacks are rather slow, forcing him to rely on his steam in order to repel opponents. Because Eneru's body is made out of electricity, this would not even remotely deter him. Consequently, he could shock the Colossal with impunity and collapse it in a matter of minutes.

4 WOULD LOSE TO: Haumea Can Destroy His Electrical Body (Fire Force)

Haumea fire force

Haumea's ignition ability allowed her to destroy electrical systems and modify her adversary's brains by manipulating them with tactical shocks. This renders her one of the few characters capable of actually harming Eneru without being resistant to his electricity.

While the god may be able to foresee her attacks through his Mantra, he does not possess lightning-fast reflexes. Therefore, she would be able to rip apart his body before he might retaliate.

3 COULD BEAT: Satsuki Kiryuin's Bakuzan Would Work Against Her (Kill La Kill)

Kiryuin Satsuki - Kill la Kill

Satsuki Kiryuin's Bakuzan was a deadly weapon because it could cut through anything - including life fibers. Combined with Junketsu, an outfit that greatly increased her physical stamina and power, she was a force to be reckoned with.

However, Eneru would turn her weapon against her by channeling an electrical current down the flat of her sword. This would make it scalding hot to the touch, forcing Satsuki to drop her weapon and rendering her powerless before the god.

2 WOULD LOSE TO: Grayroad's Curse Would Wither Eneru Into A Husk (Seven Deadly Sins)

grayroad's curse seven deadly sins

Grayroad was the Commandment of Pacifism in service to the Demon King. Though her ability prevented her from directly attacking Eneru, she could convert his high priests into demons and turn them against their master.

Should he attempt to fight back, he may cause significant harm to the monster's body and force her to scatter into tiny monsters. However, a single hostile action against Grayroad will reduce the aggressor into a desiccated husk. Since Eneru has no natural resistance to ancient curses, he would succumb to his opponent's magic and die shortly after.

1 COULD BEAT: Scar's Deconstruction Doesn't Work Against Electricity (Fullmetal Alchemist)

Scar Fullmetal Alchemist

Scar was a profoundly deadly warrior after embracing both arms of alchemy. It allowed him to deconstruct and reassemble his surroundings as will with such skill that he was even able to defeat King Bradley (a man fast enough to dodge bullets).

This insinuates that the Ishvallan could keep up with Eneru in spite of his teleportation. However, even if he manages to grab him, he could not obliterate him on account of his foe's unique electrical physiology.
