One Piece's Tony Tony Chopper, the genius doctor of the Straw Hats, undoubtedly reached a minor apex with regard to Devil Fruit utilization. So far, he is the only known Zoan user capable of squeezing every ounce of his Devil Fruit potential. As such, even though his Devil Fruit — the Human-Human Fruit — is subpar at best in the offense department, he was able to bend it according to his will to cover for its weaknesses. It’s not as simple as being creative either, as his expertise is well past that point.

Normally, Zoan-type Devil Fruits only grant their users two additional transformation forms on top of their vanilla form: Hybrid Form and Beast Form. To add more forms to one’s collection, one would either have to awaken their Devil Fruit or resort to science. In Chopper’s case, he succeeded in doing so by following the latter. He unlocked not one, not two, not three, but six more forms to assist him in combat — an unprecedented accomplishment, to say the least.

Updated on February 23, 2024, by Ajay Aravind: Tony-Tony Chopper might be an abject coward, but he still risks his life to protect his friends. Given that there's no such thing as courage without fear, some might actually consider him one of the bravest characters in One Piece. Chopper has been developing various transformation forms with the help of his Rumble Ball, many of which have come in handy during combat. As such, we've updated this list with some more relevant information.

Walk Point is the Chopper equivalent of Human Form. As he is a reindeer by nature, his vanilla form (or Human Form) is that of a reindeer. In this form, he is capable of doing everything a reindeer does — and more, although not by much. For obvious reasons, Chopper rarely utilizes this form during combat. Not only is this form lacking in punch, but it also limits Chopper's hands.

On the other hand, Walk Point allows Chopper to move as quickly as possible, so it comes in handy when the Straw Hats are taking a journey on land. Interestingly, the only version of Chopper that ages with him is Walk Point, raising several questions from the fandom. The most important argument for Walk Point, however, is that it allows Chopper to be "disguised" as the Straw Hats' pet. However, this form isn't the reason for his extremely low bounty.

8 Brain Point Greatly Enhances His Intellect For Day-To-Day Tasks

Tony Tony Chopper stands on the ship's deck in One Piece anime.

Special Moves

Scope

Usually, Hybrid Form boasts the mobility of Human Form and the destructiveness of Beast Form. It’s a form that balances two aspects that are equally vital in combat. For Chopper, however, it’s a tad different. His Hybrid Form, Brain Point, is by far his weakest transformation form. Rather than boosting his offense and whatnot, it reduces him into a chibi mascot with zero firepower whatsoever.

But again, this form is the most convenient for doing day-to-day tasks. It also enhances Chopper’s intellect by a large margin. Chopper's Brain Point also has surprising physical power, given that he can run around carrying heavy weights in this form. Brain Point comes with a sub-technique called Scope, which requires a Rumble Ball. However, Scope allows Chopper to localize an enemy's weakness and develop the ideal counterattack.

7 Heavy Point Transforms Him Into A Giant Muscular Humanoid

Special Moves

Heavy Gong

Robi-Cho Suplex

The Human-Human Fruit does precisely (or at least it tries to do) what it claims it does — transforming the user into a human. If a human has consumed it, then they’ll gain a disability rather than an ability, as they won’t be able to swim anymore. For Chopper, however, this form couldn’t be more perfect. Heavy Point is one of the natural transformations granted by the Human-Human Fruit.

This means it won’t put stress on Chopper’s body in case of overuse. Heavy Point looks considerably weaker before the time-skip, while his post-timeskip form is magnificently muscular. Chopper becomes extremely strong while using Heavy Point, and he can use multiple techniques like Heavy Gong. Further, Chopper has employed this form in combination attacks, leading to moves like Super Frapper Gong, Robi-Cho Suplex, and Gomu Gomu no Heavy Stamp.

6 Jumping Point Vastly Extends His Jumping Potential

Chopper uses Jumping Point against Kumadori in One Piece anime.

Special Moves

None

Jumping Point is, per its name, a form that allows Chopper to extend his jumping potential. It’s a specialized form that focuses on a single attribute rather than a collective boost. The last time it was used was prior to the timeskip. Even Sanji was initially awed by watching Chopper exploit Jumping Point, great praise coming from a man with exceptional leaping capacity himself.

Unfortunately, while a boost in agility and mobility might indeed be noteworthy, that’s the limit of Jumping Point. High mobility with zero to no offense can sometimes do more harm than good, especially if the opponent can fly. Another issue with Jumping Point is that it has no offensive moves or special techniques, whatsoever. It would make sense for Chopper to quit using it altogether.

5 Guard Point Inflates His Fur To Reduce The Impact Of Attacks

Special Moves

Chopper Sensha

Similar to Jumping Point, Guard Point is a specialized form that, as fans immediately may have guessed, focuses on defense. It allows Chopper to violently inflate his fur to reduce impact force. All of Chopper’s other stats fall to an all-time low when he is in this turtle shell. Then again, Guard Point is undoubtedly more useful than Jumping Point — it has saved lives on numerous occasions.

In the manga, Chopper does not have the power to attack when using Guard Point, putting him at risk. The anime version, on the other hand, shows him fighting enemies in this form. The post-timeskip version of Guard Point is a significant upgrade, making Chopper large enough to safeguard the entire ship. He even saves multiple allies from falling down a pit in the Wano Arc.

4 Horn Point Enlarges His Horns For Combat And Defense

In One Piece, Kaido is incredibly powerful. However, here are seven heroes who can and have defeated him, and three who could not.

For specialized forms like Horn Point, they are more of a short-term boost in an existing attribute than they are full-fledged forms. While it’s true that the temporarily augmented attribute enjoys an instantaneous spike in performance, its counterpart attributes experience the exact opposite. For that reason, the timing and context play a vital role in Horn Point’s overall performance.

If the form’s attack connects, then the effects will not disappoint, at least most of the time. There are multiple techniques associated with Horn Point. Roseo Colonnade allows Chopper to attack multiple enemies simultaneously, while Kakuho requires him to erupt from underground before using his horns to attack the target. Horn Point certainly has a lot of potential, and fans are certain that it's going to evolve even further.

3 Arm Point Bulks Up And Strengthens His Arm Muscles

Musshuru fights Chopper using Arm Point in One Piece anime.

Special Moves

Kokutei Diamond

Cloven Roseo Metel

Even though Horn Point’s offense is noteworthy in its own rights, it is, at the end of the day, a mob cleaner at best. There are too many restrictions for it to be used in one-on-one battles. On the flip side, Arm Point is near perfect against singular opponents. It grants Chopper fearsome strength, and one step above all, it does not impede his other stats.

Horn Point's techniques include Kokutei Roseo, Kokutei Cross, Kokutei Roseo Metel, Armée de L'Air Kokutei Roseo Shoot, and Kokutei Diamond, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. Prior to the timeskip, Chopper relied on this form to seal the deal for many of his toughest confrontations. Unfortunately, he has not been able to access Arm Point after the Straw Hats' reunion on Sabaody.

2 Kung Fu Point Is A Masterful Combination Of Strength And Smarts

One Piece's unflappable Sir Crocodile has one weakness, and Ivankov knows what it is. What do they have in common, and why is Oda keeping it a secret?

Kung Fu Point is most definitely one of the most unique forms that Chopper has access to. In a way, it combines the strength of Heavy Point and the smarts of Brain Point. With the combined features of these two, Chopper is able to unleash this ultimate ragtag-mower of a form. Rather than being exclusively offense-oriented like Arms Point or mobility-oriented like Jumping Point, Kung Fu Point has a stake in each of the attributes that produce a battle master.

Chopper's reaction time and technique also experience a considerable boost. He somehow learns the art of kung fu in this form, giving him enough strength to take down a wide range of enemies. There aren't many named techniques connected to Kung Fu Point, although Robin and Chopper's Robi-Cho Daisenpu is an interesting non-canonical ability.

1 Monster Point Blends All Of Chopper's Points Into A Gigantic Beast

Special Moves

Kokutei: Palme

Lastly, Monster Point is truly fit for being Chopper’s ultimate form: it’s unarguably Chopper at his best. There are more than a handful of fan theories concerning Monster Point, most of which point to its unignorable connection to Devil Fruit Awakening. As fans have only seen proper Devil Fruit awakening for Paramecia-types, calling Monster Point an awakening will be jumping to conclusions.

In the beginning, Chopper needs to eat three Rumble Balls to access Monster Point, which combines all the other forms into a gigantic monster. He doesn't even have any control over himself when he uses this form in the Enies Lobby arc, but his later transformations seem to be well-managed. Monster Point Chopper is powerful enough to injure someone like Queen, further demonstrating the overwhelming attack potency of his form.
