Of all the crews in One Piece, there is only a handful of them that manage to stay relevant beyond their debut arc. Some have the lifespan of one story saga, past that and they'll start fading into oblivion. For example, the Black Cat Pirates, the Kreig Pirates, and the Fishman Pirates all became obsolete as the story progressed. There’s one crew that managed to stay unshaken by the violent winds of One Piece. And against all the odds, they still enjoy a level of relevance.
One Piece is akin to a wilderness where only the strong could survive; and this leads to the next point, the Buggy Pirates. Buggy’s Delivery, previously known as the Buggy and Alvida Alliance, is (or was) one of the most notorious underground groups in the New World. The events of Marineford might’ve left plenty of losers, but Buggy is definitely not one of them. He monopolized his newfound infamy, recruited a bunch of heavy-hitters, and established the Buggy Delivery Organization known today.
7 Mohji The Beast Tamer
Prior to the timeskip, Mohji was a man with a decent amount of muscles to his body. As Buggy’s previous first mate, he was only second to his captain when it comes to fighting capabilities.
That said, the previously ripped Mohji is sadly no more. Apparently, the comfort got the best of him reducing his edge to nothing but bluntness. And while he might not be as weak as he appears to be, there’s nothing about him to can make fans give him the benefit of the doubt.
6 Richie The Lion
Richie is a giant lion that was tamed by Mohji. He acts as the crew’s pet and mascot when he is idle. But when the time calls for it, he can switch to ferocious mode at a moment’s notice. True to his size, Richie had quite the notable body strength. He was capable of feats even Zoro (at the time) admitted to being incapable of-- destroying a steel cage.
But just like his owner, Mohji gained a considerable amount of weight after the timeskip. He became more of a plump kitten rather than a lion. His previous ferocious countenance was also replaced with cuteness.
5 Kabaji The Acrobat
While it’s true that Kabbaji is easily the most elegant and mysterious member of the Buggy crew, the bar isn’t that high considering it’s a circus-centered crew. Oftentimes, his mysterious and elegant front is betrayed by his and his crew’s wild antics.
Prior to the timeskip, Kabaji and Mohji were equals in terms of strength. They were rivals who constantly sought the acknowledgment of their captain, Buggy. Following the timeskip though, the tides might’ve turned in Kabaji’s favor. Unlike his counterpart who fell victim to comfort, he still remains in shape.
4 Alvida The Iron Mace
By the anime timeline, Alvida was the first antagonist encountered by Luffy; which makes her the earliest recurring antagonist. After her humiliating defeat, Alvida returned for round two-- but this time, she had Buggy’s back up.
Due to the effects of her devil fruit, the Sube Sube no Mi, Alvida is able to shrug off most attacks aimed at her. Most attacks that come in contact with her body simply ‘slip off’-- an immunity to attacks to some extent. Fans haven’t seen Alvida --or any other member of the crew for that matter-- engaged in combat after the timeskip; hence her exact strength can not be pinpointed.
3 Galdino/ Mr.3
Galdino has been together with Buggy since Impel Down. The two escaped the prison and withered the Paramount War with each other's company, which makes them brothers in suffering. Moreso, Galdino is one of the few members of the organization who are fully aware of Buggy’s real capabilities. He often acts as the crew’s voice of reason.
Even before encountering Buggy, Galdino was quite the notorious individual. He served in Crocodile’s organization, Baroque Works, prior to its fall. His devil fruit, the Doru Doru no Mi, is also one of the most interesting devil fruits in the series; it’s as versatile as a devil fruit could get.
2 Buggy The Clown
Also known as Buggy D. Clown amongst the highly cultured, Buggy is the previous captain of the Buggy Pirates and the current president of the Buggy Delivery Organization. He is a man with a busy history, to say the least. Earlier on in his piracy career, Buggy sailed below the Pirate King’s banner. And although he was just a cabin boy, it was a notable achievement nonetheless.
Buggy’s strongest point doesn’t lie in his strength. His charisma and almost insane luck are by far more prominent. Now with the disbandment of the Shichibukai system, his fate still remains unknown-- though it’s highly doubtful the Marines will be able to take down this underworld mastermind.
1 S-Class Mercenaries
Though Buggy is strong, he isn’t necessarily the strongest in his organization. As far as fans are concerned, the organization’s S-class mercenaries hold more strength than he does. These are the cream of the crop of Buggy’s Delivery; its strongest fighting forces.
A squad of giants headed by Hajrudin served in the organization for a while, though they later quit in favor of joining the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. Hajurdin was able to defeat an officer of the Donquixote Family, which serves as a reference for the S-class mercenaries' prowess.
