Boa Hancock is everyone's favorite Pirate Empress from One Piece. The cosplay darling is simply irresistible - literally! As the most beautiful woman in the world, virtually no one - be they man or woman - can resist the charms of the Snake Princess.
If Boa Hancock ever set sail into the Marvel Universe, many of its inhabitants would instantly fall in love with her. But not everyone would be enamored by the Snake Princess, and those that weren't would want her gone. Since Hancock does as she pleases, she wouldn't leave without a fight, so here's a look at five Marvel characters Boa Hancock would defeat and five that she wouldn't fare so well against.
10 Would Defeat: Viper
Marvel already has a boss snake-themed lady in its universe and her name is Viper. The former head of Hydra would not only want Hancock eliminated, but would want the title of Snake Princess for herself. When word of this insolence reaches Hancock, the gloves would be off!
While Hancock could just use her Haki and turn Viper into stone, the challenge to her title would be personal so she'd let her fists and feet do the talking. Viper is a deadly fighter, but Hancock is not only world-renowned for her beauty but her strength as well. The fight wouldn't be easy, but in the end the one true Snake Princess would emerge victoriously.
9 Wiped Out By: Storm
Boa Hancock may be a princess, but not only is Storm the daughter of a princess but for a time she was worshipped as a rain goddess thanks to her incredible powers. Hancock may have bitten off more than she can chew against this powerful Omega-level mutant.
Of course, Storm would be susceptible to Hancock's beauty charms, but that can be neutralized with a dense fog - she can't be entranced by Hancock if she can't see her. From there, Storm just needs to summon a tornado or some lighting to take care of the Snake Princess.
8 Would Defeat: Starfox
What happens when a charmer meets a fellow charmer? Starfox is a former Avenger and also the brother of Thanos. While Starfox has enhanced strength and is able to fly, his primary power is persuasion - he can psionically stimulate the pleasure center in someone's brain to make them open to suggestion.
Because of the horrors she endured at the hands of the World Nobles, she's cautious and untrusting around men. While she's softened some since meeting Luffy, she can still sniff out a manipulation attempt easily enough, so if Starfox tried to use his powers on her she'd counter with the Love-Love Beam and turn him into stone.
7 Wiped Out By: Vision
Vision versus Boa Hancock poses an interesting question - would Hancock be able to charm the Vision? On one hand he's an android, but on the other he's shown the capacity for love. With that ability comes the ability to desire, so theoretically he should be susceptible to Hancock's Devil Fruit powers.
Hancock herself may not know what to make of the synethzoid and doubt the Beam's effectiveness. If she did try though, he could simply phase through it. From there he could take her out with a blast from his Solar Jewel.
6 Would Defeat: Grey Gargoyle
The Love-Love Beam isn't Boa Hancock's only stone-turning method. She's also physically turned people into stone with her kicks. The Marvel Universe also houses someone who can turn things (and himself) into stone by touch, the villainous Grey Gargoyle. Would Hancock be able to turn a stone Gargoyle into stone?
The Grey Gargoyle wouldn't be able to resist Hancock's beauty, so she could definitely turn him. But he would be the rare opponent that could turn himself back to normal. If that happened though, Hancock could simply charm the fight to an end by asking "you don't really want to fight me do you?"
5 Wiped Out By: Doctor Doom
If a new source of power pops up in the Marvel Universe it's only natural for Doctor Doom to pursue it. He would seek out the Pirate Empress and try to steal her Haki because Doom's gotta Doom.
Unfortunately for the Snake Princess, Doom's indomitable will would mean he's invulnerable to the Love-Love Beam. But Hancock would go down swinging. She'd hold her own in a hand-to-hand fight, but Doom's personal force field would prevent her kicks from turning him to stone. Ultimately, Doom's armor and sorcery skills would be too much for her to handle.
4 Would Defeat: Human Torch
Similar to Doom's motif, if a new girl pops up in the Marvel Universe then Johnny Storm has to introduce himself. Johnny's a good guy but when it comes to women he has practically zero boundaries - he was once married to the Thing's ex-girlfriend! (She turned out to be a Skrull, but he didn't know that at the time.)
The only thing that burns hotter than Johnny's flames is his lust, and Boa Hancock is totally the wrong person to meet if that's the case. He'd be turned to stone faster than you can say "flame on." Johnny had better hope he's not flying when it happens so he doesn't fall to the ground and shatter.
3 Wiped Out By: Namor
Boa Hancock needs to be careful when sailing the seas of the 616 - one wrong move over Atlantis may draw the ire of Namor!
Two things working against Hancock in this matchup are that Namor is at his strongest in the water and that the Love-Love Beam wouldn't work on him because he prefers blondes. In a matter of seconds Namor would sink Hancock's ship, and without any ground to fight on she couldn't try a physical attempt at turning him into stone.
2 Would Defeat: Deadpool
When it comes to women, Deadpool tends to go for the ones that aren't a good choice for him. Case in point, past exes include Shiklah, Queen of the Undead, and the love of Thanos's life Lady Death. So bring on Boa Hancock!
Since Deadpool can break the fourth wall, he's likely familiar with Hancock and he'd beg her to let him join the Kuja tribe. When she says no, he'd proceed to start putting the moves on her. Patience isn't a virtue for Hancock, so she'd quickly turn him to stone and let him find out how well his Healing Factor really works.
1 Wiped Out By: Enchantress
Boa Hancock may be the most beautiful woman in the world, but the Enchantress is the most beautiful woman of the Nine Realms.
The Asgardian Enchantress has been enchanting victims since Hancock was in diapers. Enchantress's powerful magics would prevent Hancock's charms from working on her. Hancock could try to physically engage, but Enchantress doesn't like to get her hands dirty, so she'd just zap Hancock and be done with her.
