While most fights in One Piece are great, there are some that fans think don't live up to the expectations. Here are the 5 best fights in One Piece that we've seen and the 5 worst.

10 Best: Luffy Vs. Rob Lucci

Rob Lucci vs Monkey D. Luffy in One Piece's Enies Lobby arc

Luffy fought against the CP-9 at Enies Lobby and his fight against Lucci is often regarded as one of the best that fans ever saw. With Robin's life on the line, Luffy went beyond all his limits to destroy the wall that stood in his path and save his friend.

Even though Lucci appeared to be stronger than Luffy, the Straw Hat captain managed to get back up after being knocked down and ultimately finished things with a powerful Jet Gatling.

9 Worst: Zoro Vs. Meowban Brothers

This fight took place in early One Piece where the intensity was quite less compared to the later fights and Zoro's clash against the Meowban Brothers is certainly one of the weakest ones we've seen in the story.

Most of the fight is there to simply stall for time and it concludes with Zoro managing to defeat both of them without much trouble.

8 Best: Zoro Vs. Ryuma

Zoro fights Ryuma

One of the best sword-fights in One Piece, Zoro vs. Ryuma set Thriller Bark alight with its phenomenal choreography. Although the fight wasn't a long one, it was definitely one of the best that the fans have seen in the story.

The fight concluded with Zoro defeating Ryuma by setting him on fire with one of his techniques. Being impressed with Zoro's prowess as a swordsman, Ryuma proceeds to offer Zoro his famous black blade Shusui, one of the 21 O Wazamono grade swords in the series.

7 Worst: Mihawk Vs. Vista

At Marineford, Dracule Mihawk clashed against the World's Strongest Swordsman in Dracule Mihawk. While this was supposed to be a great match-up, we didn't get to see most of it because of how jam-packed Marineford really was.

Most of the fight ended up being skipped over and fans were left with a bitter taste in their mouths because of how great this clash would've been. What we do know is that it ended in a draw with neither of the swordsmen receiving any serious injuries in the clash.

6 Best: Sanji Vs. Jabra

One of the most loved fights from the Enies Lobby arc of One Piece, Sanji's fight against Jabra introduced fans to one of the most powerful abilities in Diable Jambe.

This fight was filled with action from start to end and showed the fans how lethal Sanji can be when the life of one of his friends is on the line. Undoubtedly, Sanji's ferocious clash against Jabra saw him become stronger than ever before.

5 Worst: Luffy Vs. Mr. 3

Luffy Defeats Mr. 3 One Piece manga

Luffy and Mr. 3 clashed against each other on Little Garden, one of the most incredible places in the Grand Line. Right from the beginning, it was pretty clear that Luffy was superior to Mr. 3 in every way possible.

When the two clashed, surprisingly, the fight didn't even last long as Luffy basically ended it in one hit. While not bad by any means, it certainly isn't the best One Piece fight out there.

4 Best: Luffy Vs. Kaido

Luffy's fight against Kaido came recently in the Wano Country arc and was phenomenal to witness, especially in the anime. The fight saw Luffy take on one of the Four Emperors of the Sea in Kaido for the first time.

Although initially, it felt as if Luffy could stand up to him, as it went on, the power difference between the two became more apparent. Kaido finished the battle with just one strike of his club and showed the fans exactly why he is one of the Yonko.

3 Worst: Usopp Vs. Sugar

Usopp faced Sugar at Dressrosa in what appeared to be an impossible battle to win for him, given the overpowered nature of Sugar's Devil Fruit. However, this fight wasn't like your average Shonen fights. Instead, it focused on Usopp awakening his Observation Haki and using it to scare her so she gets knocked out.

While the bit where Usopp awakens Haki is certainly phenomenal, the fight itself isn't half as good as we expected it to be.

2 Best: Luffy Vs. Katakuri

Luffy clashed against the right-hand man of Big Mom, Charlotte Katakuri, in the Mirro-world during the Whole Cake Island arc. What initially appeared to be a one-sided affair in Katakuri's favor slowly saw Luffy get stronger.

By the end, this fight gave the fans everything they wanted, from a respectable opponent in Katakuri to Luffy gaining great powers and finally overcoming his obstacle.

1 Worst: Robin and Chopper Vs. Hogback

Dr. Hogback in One Piece.

Arguably the most underrated arc of One Piece, Thriller Bark gave us some phenomenal fights such as Luffy Vs. Oars and Zoro Vs. Kuma. However, Robin and Chopper's clash against Hogback certainly isn't one of them.

Individually, both Robin and Chopper were powerful enough to take out Hogback without any effort whatsoever. As a villain, no One Piece fan could possibly like him or relate to him, which is what makes this fight a forgettable one.
