Devil Fruits are rare fruits in One Piece that grant a person a certain type of ability. However, the person loses their ability to swim completely. There are three types of devil fruits: Paramecia, Logia, and Zoan. Paramecia devil fruits are arguably the most common devil fruits in One Piece.
So far in the series, we have seen many powerful paramecia type devil fruits. Some of these can lay claim to being the most powerful devil fruit in existence, however, a devil fruit can be only as good as its user wants it to be. So, this post will be discussing the strongest paramecia-type devil fruit users in One Piece.
10 Boa Hancock
What better way to start off the list than with the beautiful Pirate Princess! Boa Hancock is a former Shichibukai and the leader of Kuja Pirates. Boa Hancock is also the current empress of Amazon Lily. She is actually a really strong character and she is able to use all three types of Haki.
Boa Hancock also possesses a devil fruit known as Mero Mero no Mi. It may seem a lackluster fruit at first, but it can actually be pretty dangerous. The devil fruit can also cause petrification on contact. Boa was easily able to fend off Smoker and the Pacifistas at Marineford using a combination of Haki and her devil fruit powers.
9 Magellan
Magellan was the main antagonist of the Impel Down arc. During their fight, Luffy was beaten up pretty badly by Magellan and required the help of Ivankov and co. to stop him. Magellan possesses the Doku Doku no Mi, and many people mistake it for a logia type, but it's actually a paramecia type devil fruit.
Magellan has immense control over his devil fruit as he was able to control the worst criminals in the entire world. Magellan also overpowered Blackbeard and his crew, however, they were saved by Shiryu.
8 Charlotte Cracker
Cracker is one of the Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates. He has been endowed with the power of Bisu Bisu no Mi, which allows him to create biscuits. Cracker's real face was a mystery even to the World Government as they used the face of the biscuit soldier for Cracker's bounty poster.
Cracker was all over Luffy in their fight and his Armament Haki was the best that Luffy had faced. Each of Cracker's biscuit clones is extremely powerful and they can easily take down many strong foes at once.
7 Donquixote Doflamingo
One of the former Shichibukai, Doflamingo is blessed with the power of the Ito Ito no Mi. He can create and manipulate strings at will. Doflamingo is one of the few characters who have managed to awaken their devil fruit and unlock new powers.
One of the scariest abilities of Ito Ito no Mi is the Birdcage, which guarantees death to everyone unless they defeat Doflamingo. He can also create a clone made up of strings that can lend him a hand in a fight.
6 Fujitora
One of the Navy's strongest fighters, Fujitora has been full of controversies so far. He disobeyed Akainu's orders at Dressrosa. It takes a lot of guts to disobey Akainu and Fujitora has plenty. Fujitora possesses the power of Zushi Zushi no Mi, that allows him to control gravity at will.
It is a very powerful devil fruit without a doubt. It is able to bring down meteors from the sky and cause destruction. Fujitora could have been higher on the list, but he recently acquired his devil fruit and will need time to become better at using it.
5 Trafalgar Law
Trafalgar Law has slowly become one of the fan favorites in the series. He made his debut in the Sabaody Archipelago arc. Law has arguably the strongest devil fruit in existence. He possesses the Ope Ope no Mi, which makes him a very dangerous opponent.
Law is extremely adept at using his devil fruit and he has shown his skills several times already. The only drawback of the devil fruit is that it is stamina consuming, so it is not really suited for long fights.
4 Monkey D. Luffy
Captain of the renowned Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy occupies the next spot on the list. Luffy ate a devil fruit when he was just a kid. He has managed extraordinarily well with a simple devil fruit ability, even developing different "gears" that grant different powers.
These gears just show Luffy's ingenuity when it comes to devising new methods to surpass his opponents. He created Gear 2 after watching Rokushiki of the CP9. Luffy is yet to awaken his devil fruit, but it can't be that far away.
3 Charlotte Katakuri
The strongest Sweet Commander of the Big Mom Pirates, Katakuri is one of the most likable characters in One Piece due to his moral code. He is able to use all three types of Haki. Moreover, Katakuri has advanced Armament and Observation Haki, the latter allows him to look into the future for a few seconds.
Katakuri has a special paramecia type of devil fruit called Mochi Mochi no Mi. The devil fruit allows him to create and control mochi. Katakuri has also awakened his devil fruit and it just makes things harder for his opponent. It is easy to see why Katakuri was undefeated since his birth.
2 Charlotte Linlin
Also known as Big Mom, Charlotte Linlin is one of the Yonko and, by extension, one of the strongest characters in the series. She is a former member of the Rocks Pirates. Big Mom has the power of Soru Soru no Mi, which allows her to steal the souls of other people.
It is a very frightening ability unless you aren't scared of Big Mom, which is very rare. Big Mom has created homies out of her own soul, which just makes her even more dangerous. She is also able to use all three types of Haki.
1 Edward Newgate
Finishing at the top of the list, as he should be, is Edward Newgate, more commonly known as Whitebeard. Whitebeard was known by many epithets, including "Strongest Man Alive" and "King of the Seas." His devil fruit granted him the power to destroy the world.
Whitebeard possessed the Gura Gura no Mi and it allowed him to create quakes. An old Whitebeard came to Marineford with his devil fruit and literally destroyed it, so it really makes one think what he could have done when he was younger.
