Doflamingo is the second strongest character in One Piece that Luffy has defeated. He was a part of the Seven Warlords Of The Sea, with the bounty frozen at 340 Million Berries. In the underworld, Doflamingo, with the code name Joker, was the most influential broker supplying arms to countries and world government.
Doflamingo is the awakened user of String-String Fruit which allows him to create and manipulate strings. And since he is an awakened user, Doflamingo can turn his surroundings into strings and use it offensively. He can also use all three types of Haki including Armament, Observation and Concorers Haki. Doflamingo is undoubtedly one of the strongest pirates of the new world, but can he defeat characters from other anime listed below?
10 CAN BEAT: DEKU (My Hero Academia)
This fight has a clear winner. Deku from My Hero Academia with his One For All can't compete with Doflamingo at any level. When it comes down to it, Doflamingo can defeat Deku without the use of his Awakened strength. The biggest feature of One For All is its overwhelming strength. Although Deku can utilize it, losing a hand or a leg in a fight against an overkill character like Doflamingo is a huge detriment. And even if we consider that Deku can utilize One For All at 20% without sustaining any physical damage, he still will not be able to break the threads, making it Doflamingo’s win.
9 CAN'T BEAT: ALL MIGHT (My Hero Academia)
All Might is the previous user of One For All. Due to the wounds he suffered during his fight with All For One, he can no longer utilize his full power. But in his prime days, All Might was to force to be reckoned with.
All Might was the No 1 Hero with arguably the strongest quirk in the world. And Against Doflamingo, this quirk of his would show its full potential. Since One For All physical abilities is similar to the physical abilities of Luffy's Devil Fruit powers, it is easier to see how All Might would be able to defeat Doflamingo. With his immense speed and strength, All Might will be able to overpower an opponent like Doflamingo and come out as a Victor.
8 CAN BEAT: ASTA (Black Clover)
Doflamingo is an impossible enemy for Asta to defeat. Asta lacks the perception ability to see Doflamingo's threads. Making him an easy target for Doflamingo's puppet ability. Even if, Doflamingo doesn't use this ability to end the fight, Asta, while he has some good combat skills, they are nowhere near in the same class as Doflamingo's.
Asta may be a badass in the world of Black Clover but in this match-up even his demon form lacks the power to compete with the rogue pirate, getting himself easily caught in impenetrable threads making this fight an easy win for Doflamingo.
7 CAN'T BEAT: JULIUS NOVACHRONO (Black Clover)
Julius is without a doubt an overpowered character. While his ability to control time is formidable, in his fight against Doflamingo, Julius will not even need to fight with his full power. No matter how powerful Doflamingo gets, he cannot defeat someone who controls the time.
For Doflamingo, facing an opponent like Julius is nothing but a piece of bad luck. Even if Doflamingo uses his awakened state to attack, Julius will simply fly and dodge the slow threads. Moreover, Julius can easily trap Doflamingo in a time loop making this fight a clear win for the Wizard King.
6 CAN BEAT: GON FREECSS (Hunter X Hunter)
Gon from Hunter X Hunter has an amazing talent for battle and crazy adaptability skills. While he is an exception among exceptions, Gon needs his adult form to face Doflamingo. Otherwise, it's a simple case of Doflamingo using his threads to control Gon or just rendering him unconscious in a matter of seconds.
Say, Gon faces Doflamingo in his adult form. Here things get interesting. Adult Gon can go toe to toe with Doflamingo forcing the former Warlord to awaken his Devil fruit powers. After this stage, the fight becomes pretty much one-sided again. Adult Gon will get dismembered after an intense exchange ending the fight in Doflamingo's favor.
5 CAN'T BEAT: MERUEM (Hunter X Hunter)
Meruem is a very formidable opponent in his base form, but his power truly shines after absorbing Youpi and Pouf, two of his royal guards. Meruem, as a specialist, has even more control over his Nen ability and combining that with him evolving to an even greater life-form, makes him even more overpowered than before. The exchange between Meruem and Doflamingo will be a tough one.
When Doflamingo faces the Ant king in his awakened form, Meruem will be able to loosely defend himself using his Nen abilities. But even after sustaining major damage, in the game of endurance, Meruem will outlast Doflamingo while constantly switching to the offensive. In a long battle, the winner will most likely be Meruem, the Ant King.
4 CAN BEAT: BORUTO UZUMAKI (Boruto)
Boruto’s prowess with ninjutsu is commendable but his main talents lie in nature transformations and tactics, which are complemented with the insane abilities of Karma. His face-off against Doflamingo is quite an entertaining one. Boruto lacks the ability to perceive Doflamingo’s Millions of small wafer-thin strings. While Boruto has exceptional skills, they are very underwhelming against Doflamingo. It's almost impossible for Boruto to break Doflamingo’s threads let alone standoff against Doflamingo’s awakened mode. Boruto has yet to master Karma until then the difference between the abilities is too great. An easy win for Doflamingo.
3 CAN'T BEAT: NARUTO UZUMAKI (Naruto)
Naruto is the Hokage of the leaf village, and one of the two strongest shinobi’s alive. He is a master in Sen Jutsu and all forms of basic nature transformations. Naruto, with the help of Sasuke, was able to defeat Kaguya, who was the originator of chakra.
Naruto has the biggest collection of chakra, thanks to his bond with the Nine-Tails. Using this chakra, he is immensely fast and powerful. Given all that, Naruto can easily overpower an opponent like Doflamingo by breaking his strings and dealing with a huge blow of Rasen Shukiren.
2 CAN BEAT: GENOS (One-Punch Man)
Genos is an S-Rank hero and the disciple of Saitama in the world of One-Punch Man. While Genos is a cyborg that has infinite potential. He can perceive Doflamingo’s millions of threads and has the computation ability to react to them making him immune to his enemy's puppet ability.
But Genos falls back in the amount of firepower required to break through Doflamingo’s defenses. Even with his anti-Saitama arms and supersonic speed, the demon pirate is a hurdle that Genos with his current abilities can’t overcome. During their battle, Genos could employ everything weapon his arsenal, yet the lack of skills and destructive power will grant Doflamingo an easy win.
1 CAN'T BEAT: SAITAMA (One-Puch Man)
This is not even a match-up anyone would have a conflicting opinion about. It is a fact that Daflamingo cannot defeat Saitama even if Saitama was sitting in his room watching Netflix and ignoring the strings flying around him. And if Doflamingo was to accidentally tears up one of Saitama’s discount coupons, the only way he would be able to walk out alive would be buying Saitama a dozen more coupons. Otherwise, the One Punch Man would One Punch the life out of the body of this awakened devil fruit user.
