The One Piece animation team cleverly hid a secret message in a recent episode of the beloved series.Per Anime Senpai, One Piece Episode 1062 focuses on a fierce battle between Zoro and King the Conflagration. During this scene, one character's attack takes the form of red streaks of energy shooting through the sky. Here, viewers can spot the aforementioned Easter egg, which features a brief message written in Arabic. A Twitter user called LO NA GO (or @Otaku_D_Sa) translated the message, which means either "I love macaroni" or "I love pasta." The message only appears on one animation frame, which viewers can find at the episode's 18:48 mark.RELATED: One Piece: Who Would Win in a Fight - Zoro or Sanji?

One Piece's History of Comical Easter Eggs

One Piece's comical Easter eggs are well-known among the fan base. A relatively famous one is "Pandaman," a joke character frequently found in large group shots. While his panda head is always present, the character's body type often varies, occasionally making him harder to find. Another noteworthy one is Luffy's crude "Franky" drawing, which appears during the Straw Hat's quest for the perfect shipwright. The picture gained Easter egg status when viewers realized that, despite its comically bad design, it bears a striking resemblance to Franky, even though Luffy had not yet met him. One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda even appears in the series, albeit generally as a name on the spine of books.

Starring alongside Godoy is Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Gibson as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji and McKinley Belcher III as Arlong. Throughout May, Netflix has released several new promotional materials for the upcoming series. These include a live-action poster featuring Luffy's ship, Going Merry, images of the ship's hand-painted flag and Luffy's iconic Straw Hat.

Although Netflix continues to hype up the series' release, One Piece supposedly flopped with audiences at test screenings. While these screenings only offer a small sample size of audience reactions, viewers reportedly cited lackluster CGI and nonsensical plot progression for fans unfamiliar with the series. Oda, who is overseeing the show's production, stated that the team was initially having difficulty getting on the "same wavelength." However, Oda's message also clarified that the team has overcome these differences and is now "working in sync." While Netflix has set One Piece's release window for 2023, Oda stated that the series would not debut until he is "satisfied" with the final product.
