Olivier Copiel is the latest artist to join DC Publisher and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee in auctioning off original art for charity in the form of a sketch of Rogue in her Savage Land costume, with a current asking price of $9,1000.

"Savage Land Rogue of the X-Men Original Art By OLIVIER COIPEL How amazing is this 9x12 hand drawn & painted illustration of Rogue from her time in the Savage Land!" Lee wrote on Twitter. Coipel's original art is available for potential bidders on eBay.

The sketch features Rogue in her torn, rugged Savage Land attire, complete with spear. Rogue was trapped in the Savage Land during Uncanny X-Men #269 and #274-275, where she dealt with the consequences of absorbing Carol Danvers' powers and battled the high priestess Zaladane. Lee served as the illustrator for that story, with legendary X-Men scribe Chris Claremont penning the issues.

Lee is doing 60 drawings of 60 DC characters over 60 days. All proceeds from the auctions will go to the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC), which is using the funds to help benefit comic book stores that may be affected by the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
