Some key changes are coming to "Supergirl" when the series returns for its second season this fall. For one, it's making the move from CBS to The CW, the home of fellow DC Comics-based series "Arrow," "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow." Additionally, the show's sophomore run will mark the debut of Kara Zor-El's cousin -- the Man of Steel himself -- Superman. Luckily, fans won't have to wait long to see both Clark Kent and Superman grace their television screens -- the character, portrayed by Tyler Hoechlin, will appear in the first two episodes of Season 2.

Newly released photos from Episode 1 give us a glimpse Supergirl in her civilian identity as Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist), alongside Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) and Clark Kent (Hoechlin), in addition to James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks), and newcomer Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath). Fittingly, the debut episode of "Supergirl" Season 2 is titled "The Adventures of Supergirl."
In the photos from Episode 2, we get to see more of Supergirl and Superman in full-costume. Among several cool images -- Supergirl getting confrontational with a car, the duo standing heroically side-by-side -- is a photo that appears to show a tense encounter between the D.E.O.'s Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) and Superman. Henshaw is, of course, secretly Martian Manhunter -- a longtime friend and Justice League colleague of Superman. The episode is titled "The Last Children of Krypton."
