Fans of The Office are getting a special treat: Pam and Angela, or rather, their actresses -- Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey -- have teamed up to make their own podcast. Office Ladies will offer listeners a behind-the-scenes perspective on how the popular show was made.
Fischer and Kinsey will talk about their favorite episodes, reveal some secrets about the making of the show, and will even answer fan-submitted questions.
Fischer explains the podcast's release is certainly timely. "As we close in on the 15th anniversary of the show, it seemed like a great time to share our stories and behind-the-scenes trivia with fans," she said.
Despite the podcast's name, however, the beloved NBC sitcom will only be a starting point as far as the discussion is concerned. "Besides talking about The Office, you can also hear us chat a little about our lives, our Target runs together, our friendship through the years," Fischer added.
Still, according to Kinsey, the original show is still a big part of their lives. "The Office was such an amazing chapter of our lives and it means so much to us that we get to share some of our memories of filming it with our audiences."
Office Ladies will premiere on Stitcher’s comedy network Earwolf on Oct. 16. In addition to Stitcher, it will be available on other podcast platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
