Netflix has revealed exclusively to CBR the first trailer and key art for its upcoming adaptation of Steve Niles and Damien Worm's The October Faction.

The trailer, which you can see below, opens by introducing viewers to Deloris and Fred Allen, who work as monster hunters. Towards the halfway mark, the footage leans into some of the horror elements that will make their way into The October Faction from Niles and Worm's original series.

Follows globetrotting monster hunters Fred (J.C. Mackenzie) and Deloris Allen (Tamara Taylor) who, after the death of Fred’s father, return to their hometown in New York with their children Geoff (Gabriel Darku) and Viv Allen (Aurora Burghart). As the family adjusts, Fred and Deloris try to hide their identities as members of a secret organization, and our heroes discover that their new small-town setting isn’t as idylic as it seems. Based on the successful comic “The October Faction” by Steve Niles and Damien Worm.

Created by Damian Kindler, The October Faction is produced by High Park Entertainment and IDW Entertainment. The ten-episode first season stars Tamara Taylor, J.C. Mackenzie, Aurora Burghart, Gabriel Darku, Wendy Crewson, Megan Follows and Stephen McHattie. Season 1 premieres Jan. 23 on Netflix.
