Netflix's upcoming series The October Faction, which is based on the Steve Niles and Damien Worm's IDW comic book series of the same name, has found its cast.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, J.C. MacKenzie (Dark Angel, Vinyl) and Tamara Taylor (Bones, Altered Carbon) will play the series' lead characters Fred and Deloris Allan, a married couple and team of monster hunters returning to their hometown in upstate New York following the death of Fred's father.

In addition to Fred and Deloris, the rest of the Allan family has also been cast. The couple's dark magic-practicing children Viv and Geoff will be portrayed by Aurora Burghart (Deadpan) and Gabriel Darku (Impulse), respectively.

Wendy Crewson (Saving Hope), Megan Follows (Reign) and Stephen McHattie (Orphan Black) will also join The October Faction, though their roles have not yet been disclosed.

Damian Kindler (Krypton, Sanctuary) will serve as The October Faction‘s executive producer and showrunner at Netflix. Moreover, he is set to direct the series alongside Director X, Megan Follows and David Frazee. October Faction comic creator Niles will executive produce alongside James Thorpe, Thomas Walden, Eric Birnberg, George Strayton and Melissa Blake. Meanwhile, John Calvert and Mohamed El Masri will produce.

The October Faction is produced by High Park Entertainment and IDW Entertainment, with IDW acting as the series worldwide distributor, with the exception of Canada. Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of the series.
