Obito Uchiha was one of the most important characters in the Naruto series. He started off his journey as a Konoha shinobi and a member of Team Minato. Unfortunately, the horrors & tragedies of war led him astray and turned him into the mastermind who went on to lead a criminal organization known as the Akatsuki and, ultimately, start the Fourth Great Ninja War.
Obito was one of the strongest characters in Naruto & his skills as a ninja were far beyond the level of an average shinobi– but he's not unstoppable. There are plenty of shinobi would could have taken Obito on.
10 Didn't Know Could Beat: Itachi Uchiha
Itachi was one of the strongest Uchiha clan members to ever exist. Aside from being extremely skilled with ninja arts, he was also very intelligent and planned his battles way ahead of time.
While Itachi was strong enough to make Obito wary of him, he was, at the end of the day, weaker. Obito's power of Kamui made him nearly invincible and later on, with the Rinnegan, he became a menace to deal with before finally unleashing fury onto the world as the Ten-tails Jinchūriki.
9 Stands No Chance Against: Madara Uchiha
After Sasuke, Madara is undoubtedly the strongest known Uchiha in the history of the series. Like Obito, he became the 10 Tails Jinchūriki in the Fourth Great Ninja War.
Madara was much stronger than Obito to begin with, and the fact that his version of the Ten-tails was perfect made him even stronger. When compared to Madara, Obito stands absolutely no chance.
8 Didn't Know Could Beat: Nagato Uzumaki
Nagato was the leader of the Akatsuki for quite a long time, but he was actually just doing what Obito wanted him to do. That's not to say that Nagato wasn't strong, though.
In a fight, his Rinnegan would help him defeat most characters standing in his way. However, Obito's Kamui ability made him troublesome to deal with. As the Ten-tails Jinchūriki, Obito was levels above Nagato in terms of power and skill.
7 Stands No Chance Against: Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto Uzumaki got access to the Six Paths powers of the Sage of Six Paths during the Fourth Great Ninja War and it made him unbelievably strong.
Even someone as strong as Madara Uchiha, or Kaguya Otsutsuki wasn't safe from his explosive power, which just goes on to show that Obito, someone much weaker than those villains, would find himself on the losing end when compared to the protagonist of the story.
6 Didn't Know Could Beat: Hashirama Senju
The God of Shinobi, Hashirama Senju was hardly ever defeated in battle thanks to his monstrous chakra and abilities as a fighter. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, however, even Hashirama found himself helpless when faced with the fury of Obito.
In fact, he openly exclaimed to be weaker than Obito and in an all-out fight, Hashirama would barely be able to scratch Obito Uchiha as the Jinchūriki of the Ten-tails.
5 Stands No Chance Against: Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke Uchiha is currently the strongest shinobi in the entire world, with Naruto his sole equal. Just like Naruto, Sasuke received Six Paths chakra from Hagoromo which enhanced his skills to a completely different level.
His power far surpassed that of Obito and was enough to see him clash against the likes of Madara Uchiha and even Kaguya Otsutsuki. Without a doubt, Sasuke was levels above Obito by the end of Naruto.
4 Didn't Know Could Beat: Minato Namikaze
Minato Namikaze was Konoha's Fourth Hokage and a prodigy when it came to fighting. Despite everything, Minato still had his limits as a shinobi. Although he managed to defeat Obito Uchiha once when the two clashed, the latter went on to gain great power.
As the Ten-tails Jinchūriki, even Kurama Chakra Mode enhanced Minato couldn't hold his own against Obito Uchiha.
3 Stands No Chance Against: Kakashi Hatake (DMS)
Kakashi Hatake might not have been the strongest of characters throughout most of the Naruto series, but for one particular fight towards the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War, he was invincible.
After temporarily receiving Six Paths powers and the Mangekyo Sharingan from Obito, Kakashi was able to fight and even injure the likes of Kaguya Otsutsuki. Obito, even with the 10 Tails power, would stand no chance against him.
2 Didn't Know Could Beat: Tobirama Senju
Tobirama Senju was Konoha's second Hokage and a mighty powerful shinobi in his prime. He was strong enough to defeat Izuna Uchiha and even earn the acknowledgment of Madara.
While there is no denying that Tobirama could fight nearly anyone in the series, defeating someone with Six Paths powers is completely out of his league. Obito, being one of the characters with those powers, could beat him within a few seconds.
1 Stands No Chance Against: Kaguya Otsutsuki
Kaguya Otsutsuki was the strongest villain in Naruto and her strength was said to surpass even that of Madara Uchiha. Not even Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha could take her on in combat and the two required help from Kakashi, Obito, and Sakura to defeat her.
Kaguya's level was way higher than Obito's and if the two ever fought, there would only be one winner.
