Actor Ewan McGregor's latest promo photo for Disney+'s Obi-Wan Kenobi drew some fashion critiques from fans.

At a London photocall for the cast of Obi-Wan Kenobi, McGregor can be seen posing alongside a pair of stormtroopers and co-star Hayden Christensen, who will be joining the Scottish actor in his return to the Star Wars franchise. Though the photo shoot was meant to advertise the series, some fans were more interested in McGregor's choice of outfit, which included a pair of capri pants they believed to be a few sizes too small.

Fans took the chance to throw a few light-hearted jabs at the returning Star Wars veteran. Some jokingly wondered if McGregor was mistakenly given a pair of Ewok trousers or if the rest of his pants had yet to arrive to the photoshoot. Plenty of followers also compared the tall bottom hem of his pants to Obi-Wan's control over the high ground, which he used to cripple a corrupted Anakin Skywalker in Revenge of the Sith. A few even critiqued McGregor's accessories, such as the Jedi Master's combination of white socks and black shoes.

McGregor previously spoke about his long-awaited return to the franchise, with the actor stating that he enjoyed how the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries connected the prequels' titular Jedi to Alec Guinness' version from A New Hope. McGregor revealed he was satisfied with the experience, saying, "I got as much, or more, out of playing [Obi-Wan] this time than I did in the first three movies put together. That's to do with the writing, and the people we were making the series with, and the technology, and how different everything is." The actor further stated that he was open to working on future Star Wars projects.

Christensen, who will reprise his role as Anakin, also discussed his own experience with Obi-Wan Kenobi. The actor revealed how much effort went into readying himself for the series, such as the pains he endured just to fit into Darth Vader's cybernetic suit. "Most of my work on this project was in preparation," Christensen said. "The physical preparation was intense. I had to put on a decent amount of weight and size to fill up the suit."

The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on May 27 exclusively on Disney+.
