The force is strong with Hasbro's Star Wars: The Black Series Force FX Elite Line Lightsaber featured in Disney+'s upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

Available for pre-order at most major retailers, including Hasbro Pulse, the upcoming line of toys boasts "the most realistic Force FX Lightsabers yet." Each lightsaber includes "advanced LEDs" for realistic lighting and a variety of sound effects, such as progressive ignition, battle clash effect, duel effect and battle sequence mode. The Obi-Wan Kenobi blue lightsaber includes a metal hilt with features and deco based on the iconic Jedi Master's weapon of choice. The iconic lightsaber was first seen in 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope and again in 2005's Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

The Black Series Force FX Elite Line Lightsaber also comes with a display stand and display emitter for fans who want to show off the lightsaber at home, with or without the removable blade. The lightsaber requires three 1.5V AA batteries, not included with the set. Hasbro's Star Wars: Black Series Force FX Elite Line Lightsaber retails for $278.99 USD and is currently available for pre-order at Hasbro Pulse, BigBadToyStore, Entertainment Earth, GameStop and most major retailers, but won't be available to purchase until 2023.

Disney+'s Obi-Wan Kenobi series marks the return of Ewan McGregor as the title character, 17 years after his last appearance in Revenge of the Sith. Set in the decade after the events of the Empire's rise, Obi-Wan Kenobi follows the legendary Jedi Knight on Tattooine as he watches over a young Luke Skywalker. He eventually finds himself getting involved in a new adventure that will bring him into the crosshairs of the Imperial Inquisitors and his former padawan-turned-evil Darth Vader.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will also see the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader with Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Moses Ingram, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend and Sung Kang rounding out the cast. The trailer for the Disney+ series suggests plenty of lightsaber action and teases the Jedi Master's dark motivation to redeem himself for not putting an end to Darth Vader in Revenge of the Sith.

Along with the new line of lightsabers, Hasbro released a new Obi-Wan Kenobi figure for its Star Wars: Black Series as well. The Obi-Wan figure, nicknamed "Wandering Jedi," comes with a removable cloth cloak and three additional Star Wars-inspired accessories, including Obi-Wan's iconic blue lightsaber. The figure will be available in most major retailers and will be available for pre-order on May 11.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is scheduled to premiere the first two episodes on May 27 on Disney+. The series will run for six episodes and conclude on June 22.
