New character posters for Obi-Wan Kenobi show who is keeping a watchful eye on the Jedi Master and Darth Vader.

On Twitter, the first character poster spotlighting actor Ewan McGregor's titular Jedi was posted alongside the announcement that the Star Wars series would debut three hours earlier than expected on Disney+. The first two episodes of the series became available to stream at 9:00 pm PST on May 26, returning viewers to the galaxy far, far away and a fan-favorite character. The following day, similar posters spotlighting the Grand Inquisitor (Rupert Friend), Third Sister (Moses Ingram), Fifth Brother (Sung Kang) and Haja Estree (Kumail Nanjiani) were released.

The posters for the Grand Inquisitor and Fifth Brother both have their eyes set on Kenobi. The two characters were originally introduced in the animated Star Wars Rebels television series, voiced by Jason Issacs and Philip Anthony-Rodriguez, respectively. The Inquisitors are Force-sensitive individuals trained to use the Dark Side to hunt down Jedi survivors. Most Star Wars fans know that the Jedi were nearly wiped out at the end of the Clone Wars in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, which Obi-Wan Kenobi takes place ten years after.

As for the newest Inquisitor introduced in Kenobi, the Third Sister, her poster has her sights set on Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen). Though the poster holds Vader in her eye, Third Sister is dead set on capturing Obi-Wan, though the full reason why is unknown as of writing. Before the Third Sister hit television screens, Lucasfilm warned Ingram about racist backlash to her character, but the actor promised fans that "Obi-Wan is going to bring the most diversity I think we've ever seen in the galaxy before."

As for Nanjiani's character, the actor has described Haja as a con-man for the Star Wars galaxy, which can be seen through his official debut. "He's this guy who works on the streets of Daiyu," Nanjiani said previously. "He's this guy who's worked really hard to stay out of the bigger conflicts at play. He just kind of wants to be his own guy. Survival for him is all that matters."

Obi-Wan Kenobi has already been received well by critics and audiences alike, holding an 88% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes as of writing. This score comes before Obi-Wan and Darth Vader have even exchanged lightsaber blows, which many fans are anticipating and excited to see.

The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi are available to stream on Disney+, with new episodes releasing weekly on Wednesdays.
