With New York Comic Con 2018 less than a month away, programming is scheduled to run from Thursday, October 4 through Sunday, October 7 at the Javits Center and select locations in the surrounding Midtown West area of Manhattan. The annual event marks the largest entertainment show on the East Coast and the last major comic book convention of the year with many studios poised to showcase upcoming series for the last wave of entertainment news of the year.

Below is a list of the most eagerly anticipated television panels announced for this year's NYCC, when and where to find them, and details about each presentation. As the show takes place on the United States' east coast, all times listed are in Eastern Standard Time (EST).

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power

The first major panel of NYCC is spotlight panel for Netflix's upcoming animated series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Produced by DreamWorks, the same studio behind Voltron: Legendary Defender, the new series features a revamp of the classic 80s character for new audiences following the story of young orphan Adora who transforms into the titular princess through use of a magic sword.

The first look panel is scheduled for Thursday, October 4 at 3 pm in the Hammerstein Ballroom with showrunner and executive producer Noelle Stevenson and voice actors Aimee Carrero (Adora/She-Ra) and Karen Fukuhara (Glimmer) and more expected to host the panel. Additionally, the presentation promises an extended first look at the series ahead of its full premiere in November.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on November 16.

DC Universe

DC Universe

By the time NYCC begins, DC Comics' premium streaming service, DC Universe, will have already had its full launch to the general public. The new platform will feature on an online library of classic DC comic titles, a collection of past DC Comics adaptations including Batman: The Animated Series and the Christopher Reeve Superman films.

The upcoming presentation scheduled for Thursday, October 4 at 5:15 in Room 1A24 at the Javits Center will promote the service will providing first looks at platform's first original series Titans and its upcoming revival of fan-favorite animated series Young Justice: Outsiders. It is unknown if the cast of either show will be present but with Titans expected to premiere the following week, there is a strong chance the premiere episode may be shown to attendees.

DC Universe is currently in its beta phase and scheduled for its full launch on September 15. Its first original series, Titans, is scheduled to premiere on October 12.

The Boys

The latest television series developed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg is an adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's longrunning comic book series The Boys. Taking place in a world where superheroes run relatively unchecked, the story has the CIA recruit a group of super-powered individuals informally known as "the boys" to keep them in line.

The upcoming Amazon series will have a panel on Friday, October 5 at 3 pm in the Hammerstein Ballroom. So far, the presentation is confirmed to feature appearances from co-creator Eric Kripke, along with series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, and Erin Moriarty. As principal photography for the eight-episode first season is scheduled to conclude before the end of September, the panel will likely feature the first ever footage of the adaptation unveiled to the general public.

The Boys is expected to premiere on Amazon this January.

Good Omens

The latest adaptation of fan-favorite author Neil Gaiman's work is set to unveil its first official sneak peek at New York Comic Con this year. On Saturday, October 6 at 10 am in The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, Amazon's adaptation of Good Omens, the celebrated 1990 novel of the same name written by Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, has a first look panel.

The six-part miniseries sees a modern-day partnership between an angel and demon joining forces to stop the arrival of the Antichrist and avert the prophesied apocalypse. The presentation will feature appearances by Gaiman, who also serves as the miniseries' showrunner, along with cast members David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Miranda Richardson, and Douglas Mackinnon.

Good Omens is expected to premiere on Amazon sometime in 2019.

Perhaps the most highly anticipated television panel of all of NYCC 2018, Daredevil is the only Marvel Netflix series scheduled for this year's show with an all-star event slated for Saturday, October 6 at 11:30 am in The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. The presentation will include stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, and Vincent D'Onofrio along with new cast members Joanne Whalley, Wilson Bethel, and Jay Ali. The cast is joined by new showrunner Erik Oleson and Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb.

With rumors that Season 3 of the popular Netflix MCU series will be debuting later in October, the panel promises to offer an extensive look at the upcoming season with the event description hinting at several "surprise reveals" likely suggesting the official confirmation of the release date as well as the identity of Wilson Bethel and Jay Ali's currently unnamed characters.

Daredevil is expected to return for its third season on Netflix in late 2018.

Dark Horse Comics' The Umbrella Academy is slated to have a major presence at New York Comic Con this year with a panel scheduled for Saturday, October 6 at 1:45 pm in Room 1A10 of the Javits Center. Series creators Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá are both expected to appear on the panel to provide a first look at a new comic book series, The Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion as well as tease the upcoming Netflix adaptation of the fan-favorite comic.

While it's unclear if the 10th anniversary presentation will unveil a first look at any footage from the live-action series, principal photography on the adaptation concluded this past July without any promos or trailers released for the series to date. NYCC 2018 would present the perfect opportunity for the series to offer the first official sneak peek of the post-modern superhero series in a big way.

The Umbrella Academy is expected to premiere on Netflix sometime in early 2019.

Marvel Rising

Showcasing Marvel Animation's Marvel Rising initiative showcasing the next generation of superheroes in the Marvel Universe teaming up to save the day, the animated line has two separate spotlight events scheduled for NYCC 2018. First up is a panel on the animated film Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors hosted by Cort Lane (Marvel Senior Vice President of Animation & Family Entertainment) and Sana Amanat (Marvel Vice President of Content and Character Development) on Saturday, October 6 at 6:45 pm in Room 1A06 of the Javits Center with event teasing several surprise guests most likely hinting at members of the voice cast appearing.

The following day, Sunday, October 7 at 2 pm in Room 1A10 of the Javits Center, Lane will host a special screening of the animated film joined by several unannounced guests.

The Marvel Rising: Initiation digital shorts are currently available to stream online at the Marvel HQ YouTube channel. The animated film Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors is scheduled to premiere on the Disney Channel and Disney XD on September 30.

What We Do in the Shadows

An American adaptation of the indie horror-comedy film of the same name, What We Do in the Shadows follows a group of vampires splitting a house while stalking the streets regularly in search for human prey. An exclusive sneak peek for the upcoming ten-episode first season is scheduled for Sunday, October 7 at 12 pm in the Hammerstein Ballroom.

The planned panel will feature Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok) and Jemaine Clements (Flight of the Conchords) who wrote and directed the original 2014 film as well as developed the adaptation for television with producer Paul Simms (Flight of the Conchords) who will also appear on the panel. In addition to unveiling the first official footage of the new series, the panelists will also take questions from the audience.

What Do in the Shadows is expected to premiere on FX sometime in 2019.
