Marvel and Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for "Iron Fist," starring "Game of Thrones" alum Finn Jones as Danny Rand. It arrived online accompanied by the text, "K'un-Lun saved him. Lei Kung trained him. And now, Danny Rand is back to fight for what's his."
The teaser, which arrives following the first look released in July at Comic-Con International, features footage sure to please fans of Marvel's Living Weapon, including glimpses of the supernatural glow surrounding Danny's fists, and the signature dragon tattoo on his chest.
Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.
The fourth Marvel series on Netflix, following "Daredevil," "Jessica Jones" and "Luke Cage," "Iron Fist" also stars Jessica Henwick, David Wenham and “Jessica Jones” veteran Carrie-Anne Moss. Arriving March 17, 2017, "Iron Fist" is expected to be followed later that year by the "Defenders" crossover, which will bring together all four heroes.
