Featuring Josh Keaton as the voice of Ant-Man and Melissa Rauch as The Wasp, the animated shorts will be created by Passion Studios, the studio responsible for Nike’s Rio Olympic short “The Last Game,” and directed by Ugo Bienvenu and Kevin Manach. Bienvenu and Manach, a creative duo from France, have collaborated previously and their shorts carry a distinct style that is sure to make Ant-Man and Wasp stand out on Disney’s animated lineup.

Josh Keaton has voiced characters across various properties and mediums, from Dick Grayson in the “Batman: Arkham Origins” video game to Shiro in Netflix’s original “Voltron” animated series. Melissa Rauch previously appeared in CBS’s “Big Bang Theory” and voiced Francine in “Ice Age: Collision Course”.

Ant-Man previously appeared in the 2nd season of Disney’s animated “Avengers Assemble” television show, joining the team after the Avengers defeated Ultron. In that series he was voiced by Grant George, who also voiced Ant-Man in "Ultimate Spider-Man."

2015's solo film “Ant-Man” solo film introduced the character to the live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film was directed by Peyton Reed with Paul Rudd as Ant-Man/Scott Lang, Evangeline Lily as Hope Van Dyne and and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym.

The "Ant-Man" shorts are expected to arrive on Disney XD in 2017.
