ReedPop, the host of such major events as New York Comic Con, Emerald City Comic Con, C2E2 and Florida Supercon, revealed updated safety requirements for its 2021 shows.

Adults who attend NYCC will be required to present proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to gain entry, while those under 12 will need to supply a negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test taken within six hours of entry to each day of the event or a negative lab PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of entry of each day of the event. Face masks will be mandatory except while eating and/drinking.

For ECCC and C2E2, attendees must provide proof of vaccination, a negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test taken within six hours of the event start time or a negative lab PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of entry of each day of the event.

Finally, Florida Supercon will simply require face masks, regardless of vaccination status.

Florida Supercon will take place Sept. 10-12 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, FL; Emerald City Comic Con will take place Dec. 2-5 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA; C2E2 will take place Dec. 10-12 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL; and New York Comic Con will take place Oct. 7-10 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
