DC Comics already has a near-daily slate of digital comics offerings, but in December, they'll be switching it up with three new series.

At New York Comic Con, the publisher announced that it will introduce "Wonder Woman '77" - an adaptation of the Lynda Carter TV series -and another serial inspired by the Telltale video game "Fables: The Wolf Among Us" in December. Then following in January will be "Mortal Kombat X" - a prequel to the incoming video game.

"Wonder Woman '77" follows on the heels of both "Sensation Comics," the first digial comic featuring the Amazon, and "Batman '66" which adapted the aesthetic style of another favorite DC TV show. It will be written by Marc Andreyko with cover art contributed by Nicola Scott. No interior artists or story details have been named, but the comic will debut as a six-part weekly series in December with print editions to follow.

"Fables: The Wolf Among Us" ties directly to the storytelling-driven video game of the same name, which is itself a prequel to Bill Willingham's Vertio comic. The creative team on the digital comic most notably features longtime Willingham collaborator Matthew Sturges who will co-write with Dave Justus with art by Steve Sadowski, Travis Moore, and Shawn McManus. Covers will be by Chrissie Zullo. The publisher noted in PR that "The Wolf Among Us" is the very first Vertigo digital first series.

Finally, "Mortal Kombat X" will be Shawn Kittelsen and drawn by Dexter Soy under covers by Ivan Reis. The series serves as a prequel to the incoming game of the same name by NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The story takes place 25 years after the events of 2011'a "Mortal Kombat" relaunch game.
