Get ready, because "Gotham's" coming back for its third season and this time, the titular city is madder than ever. Following a teaser from earlier this week, a new look at "Gotham's" third season ups the stakes and tension considerably. Bullock confronts Gordon about his new attitude, Bruce and Alfred consider taking drastic action, and all of "Gotham's" rogues -- including Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) and Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) -- begin plotting their next moves. And to make the imagery even more chilling, all of this footage is set to a children's choir's cover Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters."

There are plenty of new developments coming for the citizens of "Gotham" in season three. Bruce Wayne has a nefarious doppelganger on the loose, Poison Ivy will get an adult makeover, Nigma will go full-on Riddler, and there might even be more of potential proto-Joker Jerome on the way. Additionally, Jamie Chung will join the cast as reporter Valerie Vale.

"Gotham" returns to Fox for its third season on September 19, 2016.
