Noragami is a long-running manga series, along with two seasons of anime that were broadcast in 2014/15. It’s the story of Hiyori Iki, the girl who discovers the world of gods, demons, and human souls, after an unfortunate bus accident. In the series, Hiyori becomes close to Yato, the god of calamity who changed his mind, in a universe full of other powerful gods, phantoms, and endless adventures.

12 Aries: Yukine
Brash, rebellious, loud, how else to describe a classic Aries? Yukine died when he was very young, leaving him in a permanent state of youthful bravery, combined with a lack of respect for age and experience.
It’s almost the perfect back story for the Ram, who charges through life like a strong gust of wind. Along with that fiery energy, though, Aries is loyal, a quality Yukine displayed when he saved Yato from death and was rewarded by becoming a Blessed Vessel.
11 Taurus: Daikoku
Taurus is strong, fearless, and not afraid to take a stand. They're also a hard worker, and they truly take care of those they love, just like Daikoku takes care of Kofuku, the Goddess of Poverty, as her Shinki.
He tries to steer her away from fighting because he knows she tends to have bad luck. While he’s in the supportive role of a Shinki, he still emerges as an unofficial moral leader of the group, something that comes naturally to the Bull.
10 Gemini: Kofuku
Gemini cares little for material possessions, something that also comes with being the Goddess of Poverty. Kofuku is bright and fun-loving, which is Gemini all over.
Most of all though, she displays the classic multiple personalities of the Twins: carefree and looking for good times one minute, and fierce enough even to stand up to Bishamon the next. She can be gentle, or a whirlwind of energy. She’s even been known to be a bit of an airhead on occasion. With a love of fun and chaos, she’s a perfect Gemini.
9 Cancer: Kazuma
A powerful god needs a powerful lead Shinki. Enter Kazuma, whose clean-cut look and reasonable nature is a welcome contrast in a crazy universe. The Crab is usually well-dressed, but not at all flashy.
He downplays his power, which is typical Cancer. Cancers are also willing to do what it takes to protect those they're responsible for, just as Kazuma will go as far as disobeying Bishamon for her own good. A parental role comes easily to Cancer, which Kazuma displays helping to educate Yukine and Hiyori.
8 Leo: Bishamonten
Bishamonten, or Bishamon, rides a lion and is a representation of the god of combat and fortune. The god also known as Veena has a long blond mane of hair. There couldn’t there be a more obvious Leo in the mix.
Leo is aggressive, and naturally takes center stage, and where else would Bishamon, in her all-black warrior outfit, be but the center of attention? She’s also fiercely protective of her Regalia and has far too many because she can’t abandon them, which are typical Leo traits.
7 Virgo: Tenjin
Virgo is the serious and responsible type, the one who’s so level-headed you’re surprised to find out they’re a big fan of sci-fi and fantasy. But, that’s just the dichotomy of Virgo. Tenjin, the god of academics, is pure Virgo.
They value learning and rational thought. At least, they say they do, and it’s demonstrably true most of the time. But, those who know them well will see that giggling, joking side of them, and just like Tenjin, a typical Virgo has a lot of luck when it comes to attracting romantic partners.
6 Libra: Takemikazuchi
Takemikazuchi is the god of thunder, and sometimes also known as the god of swords. That might not sound like a typical Libra, who is known for a laid back persona.
But in Takemikazuchi, all of that dynamic energy is tempered with a healthy dose of sheer laziness. That combination of restless energy inside and a placid, even lazy outside, the god who takes forever to get anything done, and is easily bored is like a textbook description of Libra.
5 Scorpio: Ebisu
Ebisu pretty much epitomizes the typical Scorpio: dark, mysterious, someone who keeps very much to themselves. He’s calm and efficient, but still subject to odd obsessions, like the using Phantoms as Regalia.
He’s also stubborn enough to keep trying even though he keeps failing. He’s single-minded, with an almost frightening intensity. Ebisu is also not afraid of going into the underworld, and every Scorpio lives half of their life in the underworld.
4 Sagittarius: Yato
The Archer is messy but will have their own unique look, just like Yato and his fluffy scarf and brown leather boots. He’s a god of calamity who actually dislikes violence.
Like a true Sagittarius, he’s idealistic and wants to help people. He’s impulsive, and not afraid to change directions at the drop of a hat. Many Archers stay youthful, even child-like, long past childhood, and as a god, Yato’s never had to fully grow up. As a Sagitarrius-like god, he can sometimes stun those around him with his blunt remarks.
3 Capricorn: Kuraha
Capricorn is low-key, and actually prefers working behind the scenes to taking place on stage. That makes the Goat the perfect Kuraha, second in command of Bishamon’s Shinki.
Capricorn will be notably well-dressed, like Kuraha, and his stylish pirate outfit, complete with a matching eye patch. He’s the lion that Bishamon rides on. Loyal and wise, with his ultra-cool garb, he’s the epitome of Capricorn.
2 Aquarius: Iki Hiyori
Half phantom and half human, with a tail, Hiyori Iki is brave but doesn’t seem to get the credit she deserves, which are all aspects that any Aquarian will relate to. The Water Bearer is typically going in at least two directions at once.
They’re not afraid to call out friends when they’re wrong, just like Hiyori confronted Yukine when he stole. Like a typical Aquarian, Hiyori sees more than most people around her. She’s able to figure out Yato’s motives and thoughts. At the same time, she can be an airhead and a little eccentric.
1 Pisces: Mayu
Even though she doesn’t entirely approve of Yato, Mayu is still willing to take risks to save his life. She’s very honest and has a strong sense of right and wrong. That’s why she couldn’t get along with Yato; his laziness upset her.
More than that, she was disturbed that he didn’t seem to care about the human beings she thought needed his help. A true Pisces needs to believe in what they do, and if people need help, they have a strong instinct to give them what they need.
