For fans of Nightwing and The Flash teaming up, get ready for next week's DC Comics releases.
After a month-long wait, comic book readers can pick up Nightwing #91 on Tuesday, which is the latter half of a two-part crossover where Dick Grayson teams up with his best friend, Wally West. In the previous issue, Blockbuster enlisted La Agente Fúnebre to assassinate Dick, but the hero survived the attempt and was forced to accept Wally's protection and hospitality (being that the speedster raced Dick to his surburban home in the blink of an eye). The next attempt made to get to Grayson was kidnapping Barbara Gordon, but this ended with Dick and Wally surprising her captors and coming face to face with KGBeast -- the villain who once shot Dick in the head. There is more set to release next week though.
While the Nightwing/Flash crossover comes to an end, so too does the Blue & Gold limited series. After Booster Gold and Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) teamed up with Blue Beetle Jaime Reyes (who declined to join their superhero business venture), the previous issue concluded by teasing an identity reveal for the villain Black Beetle in the upcoming finale. Blue & Gold #8 marks the series' last issue, with the future currently uncertain for the beloved DC duo.
Last year's Round Robin winner, Robins, also wraps up next week, alongside new issues for Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Catwoman and The Flash, as well as the penultimate issue for the "Trial of the Amazons" crossover event with Trial of the Amazons: Wonder Girl #2.
