DC has released a preview of Nightwing #78, which reunites the Injustice: Gods Among Us creative team of Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo.

The preview features Dick Grayson returning to Bludhaven in the aftermath of "Joker War" with his memories fully intact. While on patrol, Grayson comes across a group of teenagers tormenting a three-legged dog. When one of the teens threatens to shoot the dog, Grayson then engages in his signature acrobatics before comforting the canine -- and he gets a shocking, if not entirely unreasonable response.

"This is the perfect time for a Nightwing story," Taylor said when previously describing the series. "It’s the right time for a charming, entertaining, positive force for good standing with the underrepresented, and pushing back against corruption and greed." Taylor and Redondo's new series will also be part of the upcoming Infinite Frontier initative in March.

Nightwing #78 places him at a crossroads with Bludhaven's new mayor. Upon realizing that Mayor Zucco has the same name as the man responsible for his parents' death, Nightwing asks Batgirl to look into Zucco's past, and finds a shocking revelation that threatens to upend his own life.
