Ghost Rider and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse star Nicolas Cage and Hereditary‘s Alex Wolff have signed on to star in Michael Sarnoski’s Pig.

According to DeadlinePig will follow a truffle hunter (Cage) who lives alone in the forests of Oregon. After his beloved pet pig is kidnapped, he must confront his past to save her from those that would do her harm. No details regarding Wolff's character were given.

Sarnoski and Vanessa Block wrote the script and will serve as executive producers alongside Cage. Sarnoski is also set to direct the original project.

“What began as a very personal project has transformed into a labor of love for so many talented people. I’m thrilled for us all to be bringing this strange world to life,” Sarnoski said in a statement.

If this plot sounds familiar, that is because John Wick has a similar story structure, in which the titular character (Keanu Reeves) goes on a rampage after his beloved dog Daisy is killed.

Directed and written by Michael Sarnosk, Pig stars Nicolas Cage and Alex Wolff. No release date has been announced.
