After creating variant covers showcasing the history of Superman and Batman for Action Comics #1000 and Detective Comics #1000, respectively, artist Nicola Scott created a similar piece celebrating none other than Wonder Woman. Scott presented the artwork as her "never gonna happen" cover for Sensation Comics #1000. As it turns out, however, you should never say never. Because the piece will now be used as a variant cover for the upcoming Wonder Woman #750.Following her covers starring Batman and Superman, Scott completes the trinity with Wonder Woman #750, highlighting the evolution of Diana Prince's costume. The art shows several notable incarnations, from the earliest version in the 1940s, to The New 52 and beyond. As revealed by Scott on Twitter, the cover will be available exclusively through Kings Comics.RELATED: Wonder Woman #750 Decades Variants Assemble Bolland, Perez, Hughes and More

Wonder Woman #750 is a 96-page prestige format comic book paying tribute to the legacy of the titular DC heroine. Scott is the latest in an impressive lineup of names contributing covers to the landmark issue, which also includes Jim Lee, Stanley "Artgerm" Lau and George Pérez. (That said, there's no word yet on whether Scott's butt-iful Nightwing piece will become an official cover anytime soon.)

Of course, Scott is no stranger to Wonder Woman, having worked on the series in 2016 with Greg Rucka, with whom she is reuniting with for a 12-page story inside issue #750. Wonder Woman is also a frequent subject of Scott's personal artwork, such as a recent sketch imagining Diana in a wedding dress.
