Samuel L. Jackson hasn't received the call to star in Avengers: Infinity War or its sequel, and he's not too happy about it.

Before Nick Fury's inclusion in Captain Marvel was confirmed, Samuel L. Jackson spoke with Yahoo! Movies about his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “I wasn’t in the ‘superhero argument’ movie [Captain America: Civil War], I’m not in Avengers 3 and 4," he complained. "They’re shooting them now, and they haven’t called me yet."

He's not only upset he wasn't included in Marvel Studios' biggest ensemble movies yet. Jackson would have also liked an invitation to Wakanda. “They wouldn’t let me go to Black Panther-ville, so it’s kinda like how you gonna make a black Marvel movie and not let Nick Fury show up in it?!”

Nick Fury presumably has a prominent presence in Captain Marvel, which is set in the 1990s, before he lost an eye. Brie Larson's introduction to the MCU will see Carol Danvers and Nick Fury face off against the shape-shifting alien Skrulls.

Debuting in theaters on May 4, 2018, Avengers: Infinity War is a production of Marvel Studios directed by Joe and Anthony Russo starring Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie.
