New Tron: Legacy Poster, TV Spot

It's Tuesday, which means it's time for another round of Tron: Legacy marketing from Disney: Courtesy of MySpace comes this poster of a de-aged Jeff Bridges as Clu 2.0, the youthful avatar of Kevin Flynn as he appeared in his mid-thirties, around the time of the original Tron. Apparently this image forms part of a triptych to be unveiled later.

As a bonus, the movie's first TV spot, which aired Sunday night on AMC during the premiere of The Walking Dead, has made its way online. Although we've seen most of the footage before, the commercial does contain a new shot or two. Check it out below.

The sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic, Tron: Legacy follows Sam, the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), as he looks into his father’s disappearance. Sam soon finds himself pulled into the same world of Programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. With Kevin’s loyal confidante (Wilde), the two begin a life-and-death journey across a cyber-universe that’s become far more advanced and dangerous.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, Tron: Legacy stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett and Michael Sheen. The film opens on Dec. 17.
