Disney has confirmed several new Star Wars experiences will debut Dec. 1 at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Announced in August at D23 Expo, the new attractions will follow the arrival of Star Wars: Season of the Force" later this month at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The new elements include "Star Wars Launch Bay," with special exhibits and behind-the-scenes looks at the Star Wars saga and the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as well as a chance to encounter Darth Vader and Chewbacca; "Star Tours – The Adventures Continue," which will feature a new adventure based on The Force Awakens (there's a sneak peek below); "Star Wars: Path of the Jedi," which will include scenes from all of the films; and the reimagined "Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple," where kids will face Darth Vader as well as the Seventh Sister from Star Wars Rebels.

Work also begins next year at Disney's Hollywood Studios on the 14-acre Star Wars-themed land. However, that comes at a cost: the loss of the popular Star Wars Weekends.

"While Star Wars Weekends has been a great way to enjoy the saga for a few days every year," Disney Parks' Thomas Smith writes, "now the Force will be with Disney’s Hollywood Studios every day."
