"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" features a band of Rebels of all stripes banding together in order to stop the construction of the Empire's massive, planet-destroying Death Star. Leading the ragtag group -- which includes a spiritual warrior, a demolitions expert, a pilot and an ex-Imperial droid -- are the street fighter turned freedom fighter Jyn Erso and the Rebel Alliance's Captain Cassian Andor.

The pair, played by Felicity Jones and Diego Luna, have been at the forefront of "Rogue One's" many trailers and TV spots, and now a new promo puts their partnership at the forefront. As they reveal in the promo, neither Rebel has ever experienced a team-up quite like this one -- one wherein they know the other person has their back.

Set outside of the main sequel trilogy that began with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Rogue One” is set just before 1977’s “Star Wars” and details the Rebel plot to steal the Death Star plans from the Empire. Directed by Gareth Edwards (“Godzilla,” “Monsters”) from a script by Gary Whitta and Chris Weitz, “Rogue One” stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna and Riz Ahmed.
