At this year's E3, fans were treated to a sneak peek at a Spider-Man game coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4. In the trailer, we got a glimpse of the webslinger in what looked to be a spiffy new costume. In Sony’s latest ad for its console, we get a more detailed look.
In the TV spot (below), “The King” strolls through his kingdom, watching a fake monster get built and taking in some street performances. Afterwards, he disappears in search of the real thing, and fairly soon he finds himself imagining what it would be like to be in the world of various PlayStation games.
Towards the end, he finds himself under gunfire in New York City before Spider-Man shows up to rescue him. It’s here that we get our look at the costume, which features a silver spider across his chest and silver accents along the arms and fingers. While it’s not a huge break from the norm, it’s actually not a bad design, and should look nice while zipping through virtual New York.
Other titles teased throughout the TV Spot are “Street Fighter V," “Horizon: Zero Dawn," “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," and the next installment in the “God of War” series.
