A new image from "Powerless," the NBC comedy set within the DC Universe, reveals a nod to the creators of Batman.

The photo, included in TheWrap's midseason television preview, shows star Vanessa Hudgens holding what appears to be a karaoke songbook from Kane and Fingers Pub, a reference to Bob Kane and Bill Finger.

That's certainly not the most notable connection between the comedy and the Dark Knight: An updated synopsis released last month revealed the setting for the office comedy has been changed from RetCon Insurance to Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises.

Debuting Feb. 2, “Powerless” stars Vanessa Hudgens as Emily Locke, who begins her new job as director of research & development for Wayne Security, which specializes in products that make defenseless bystanders feel a little safer as they try not to become collateral damage in the battles between superheroes and supervillains.

The trailer, which leaked in May, showed how the daily commute in the DC Universe can be complicated by high-flying fights, and how office workers debated Wonder Woman’s level of divinity as we might discuss a celebrity’s relationship status. DC heroes Crimson Fox and Jack O'Lantern are featured in the pilot episode.

Also starring Danny Pudi, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches and Christina Kirk, “Powerless” premieres Thursday, Feb. 2, at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
