For "Game of Thrones" fans -- both of the television series and the novels -- it feels like none of us left the first stage of grief upon witnessing the death of beloved Night's Watch Commander and lovable literal bastard Jon Snow.
Unlike with Ned and Robb Stark, we refused to believe in Jon's permanent death, convinced he'll be back somehow. And for a while now, there's been rumors, speculations and even comments from Jon himself, actor Kit Harington, that gave us hope. Now thanks to the Daily Mail we may have more than hope. We may have proof.
New pictures from the set of the HBO series' upcoming sixth season reveal what appears to be actor Kit Harington in full armor and wearing a sword, giving us confirmation that Harington will most definitely return. In what capacity remains to be seen. He's not wearing the black of the Night's Watch and for all we know it could very well be for a flashback scene. Although, "Game of Thrones" really doesn't employ the use of flashbacks that much.
For now, we must all remain like Jon Snow and accept we know nothing until "Game of Thrones" returns in 2016.
