With House of X and Powers of X concluded, Marvel has begun to give glimpses into the landscape of the mutant world following the monumental shift in their universe. The latest image comes from the New Mutants, who appear to be leaving the comfort of Krakoa and heading into space.

The image sees classic New Mutants member Bobby da Costa/Sunspot watching a ship depart for the cosmos, before glancing knowingly towards the viewer. "A trip to space..." the image teases. "What could go wrong?"

Of course, the question "what could go wrong?" typically means something is going to go very, very wrong. And whatever potential cosmic danger the New Mutants may encounter in outer space, this teaser image helps to give readers an idea of the tone the series is going for and set the scene for their adventures among the stars.

Written by Ed Brisson and Jonathan Hickman and illustrated by Rod Reis, New Mutants #1 goes on sale Nov. 6 from Marvel Comics. The solicitation information can be found below.
