"Whose side are you on?"

That's the question posed in the second full-length trailer for sci-fi actioner "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials," the sequel to last year's "The Maze Runner" based on the young adult novel series by James Dashner. Director Wes Ball is back along with leading man Dylan O'Brien as Thomas, a man with no memory of his past who was deposited along with a group of other teens in the same situation and forced to navigate a seemingly endless maze.

"The Scorch Trials" picks up after their escape, with Thomas and his friends navigating a desolate landscape and all manner of new obstacles and opponsents, including Janson, played by "Game of Thrones'" Aidan Gillen. The trailer shows Thomas and the Gladers joining up with resistance fighters to take on the powerful and seemingly omnipotent WCKD organization before there's nothing left to save.

Opening Sept. 18, “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” also stars Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Patricia Clarkson, Rosa Salazar, Jacob Lofland, Giancarlo Esposito and Lili Taylor.
