Fox has debuted a new teaser for the second season of "Lucifer" featuring "Battlestar Galactica" alum Tricia Helfer as the title character's mom Charlotte, aka the Mother of Angels.

As the promo opens, we see a bandaged Helfer looking to the sky, as her voiceover states, "I wish with all my being, that things could go back to the way they were." The video then transitions to Helfer staring at the camera, with another voiceover declaring, "I want my home back."

Who is Helfer speaking to in the clip? One could surmise it's her devilish son Lucifer, played by Tom Ellis. As Season 1 ended, he was concerned about his mother escaping Hell. With the phrase "I want my home back," it sounds as if Charlotte has been banished from Hell. Could a hostile takeover be in play?

Along the way, he becomes a consultant for the Los Angeles Police Department, delighting in helping to punish evil-doers.
