New Images from “Batman: Gotham Knight”

Warner Bros. has provided CBR News with new images from "Batman: Gotham Knight," the forthcoming animated anthology film set between the events of "Batman Begins" and this summer’s "The Dark Knight."

Based on the DC Comics characters, the direct-to-DVD feature will include six short films directed by "Batman: The Animated Series" and "Justice League Unlimited" producer Bruce Timm along with anime directors from Japan from scripts written by Western authors including comics’ Brian Azzarello and Greg Rucka; "Batman Begins" screenwriter David Goyer; and "Batman: The Animated Series’" Alan Burnett, among others.

For more on "Batman: Gotham Knight," check out the video below, featuring a behind-the-scenes look at the anthology including interviews with producer Bruce Timm, DC Comics’ Dan DiDio, legendary Batman writer and editor Dennis O’Neil, and DC publisher Paul Levitz.

"Batman: Gotham Knight" is scheduled for a July 8 release on DVD and Blu-Ray.
