With only days left before "Gotham's" season three premiere, official photos and a synopsis for episode two -- titled “Mad City: Burn The Witch” -- have been released. The images tease Bruce’s doppelganger roaming the streets, the new all-grown-up Ivy Pepper and Bullock in a predicament involving a vengeful Fish Mooney.
Fish Mooney -- on the hunt for Doctor Hugo Strange after he brought her back to life in his macabre experiments at Indian Hill -- seems to be interrogating "de facto Captain" Bullock in these photos. Could she be pushing him for information on Indian Hill? Or perhaps he knows more about the location of Dr Strange than fans have been led to believe?
Here’s reporter Valerie Vale (played by Jamie Chung) on the trail of Fish Mooney in her investigation of Dr Strange’s odd practices at Indian Hill, but what’s most interesting here is the location. The same green awnings and dumpsters can be seen in this photo and the next which shows the long-haired "Bruce" we saw leaving the bus with Doctor Strange’s "monsters" at the end of Season 2. Has Vale discovered Wayne’s doppelganger, or has the strange creation got a particular interest in the curious reporter?
Here we see Ivy Pepper’s (played by Maggie Geha) sodden and bedraggled return to Gotham. She seems to have broken into the same house we see James Gordon paying a call to in another photo -- perhaps still trying to track down Lee.
Finally, we see the classic steaming platform return of Dr. Leslie “Lee” Thompkins. Looking particularly nervous after she left town in the previous season. Or could that be a guilty look after she told Gordon of losing their baby via Bullock?
Oh and where would we be without more “Court of Owls” teasers? Here we can see Bruce coming face to face with the secret society that seems to want him dead. But who is interrogating whom? And how has Bruce’s investigation been compromised? You can get more info in the episode description below.
