Fans are understandably excited to learn more details concerning Warner Bros.' live-action New Gods movie, ever since the announcement that Ava DuVernay would helm the project.Though we don't know which actors are currently under consideration to star in the DC film, DuVernay has revealed her first casting clue during a Q&A session on Twitter.RELATED: Darkseid and Female Furies Confirmed for New Gods MovieWhen asked if any of the cast from her Netflix series When They See Us would be joining New Gods, DuVernay confirmed there is a "99% chance" this happens."In each of my narrative projects since my first film entitled I Will Follow, I bring over an actor from the last project I made," she said. "So, yes, there is a 99.9% chance this will happen again."

At another point in the Q&A session, DuVernay confirmed Darkseid, ruler of Apokolips, and the Female Furies would also feature in the Jack Kirby-inspired film.

Created by comic icon Jack Kirby during his tenure at DC Comics in 1971, the New Gods are an extraterrestrial race who inhabit two worlds: the peaceful New Genesis, ruled over by the wise Highfather, and the hellish Apokalips, ruled over by the wicked Darkseid. Outside of their roles in the comics and the DC Extended Universe, the New Gods have appeared in other forms of media, such as Superman: The Animated Series and Young Justice.

Directed by Ava DuVernay with a script by DuVernay and Tom King, New Gods currently has no release date or cast announced.
