New Glimpses Behind the Scenes of X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man 2

Right now there are four movies being filmed based on Marvel's stable of characters: Marvel Studios has Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Thor: The Dark World, Sony has The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Fox is ramping up X-Men: Days of Future Past. So there's plenty for Marvel Movie Zombies to get excited about, and the directors of those projects keep the fires stoked thanks to social media.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb has been busy on set, overseeing production and tweeting daily behind-the-scenes photos. Just yesterday he released the above shot along with the message, "Day 45. This is what happens when you try to give Electro a ticket." We still haven't seen Jamie Foxx's Electro, but this is the first look at the destruction he can cause.

Bryan Singer, meanwhile, has been showing off his fair share of behind-the-scenes photos from Days of Future Past. The most recent one isn't a character or set photo, but instead a shot of a prop. The document is called "Oxford University Thesis: By Charles Xavier on Human Genetic Mutation" with the date 1973. As X-Men: First Class fans will remember that Professor X and his first batch of X-Men worked for the CIA previously.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens May 2, 2014, while X-Men: Days of Future Past arrives July 18, 2014.
