New Flash Synopsis Puts the “Paradox” in “Flashpoint Paradox”

When “The Flash” returns to the CW in a few weeks, the show will take on one of the most well-known comic book storylines in “Flash” history: “Flashpoint.” The premiere episode is aptly called “Flashpoint,” and this new synopsis for episode two reveals another “Flashpoint” connection, proving that it’s going to take more than just one episode to set the timeline right.

The second episode of this season is called “Paradox.” If you’ve seen the animated movie adaption of “Flashpoint,” which is titled “Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox,” then you can see why “Paradox” is a perfect episode title. In this episode, Barry will begin to experience the negative effects of the new timeline and learn that he’s not the only person who was affected. Barry will also meet “Harry Potter” franchise alumni Tom Felton, who’s playing mystery character Julian Albert.
