If your first experience with The Flash was in the late '80s or '90s, you know Wally West as the fastest man alive. After a stint as Kid Flash, Barry Allen's sidekick, Wally replaced his fallen mentor and became the Scarlet Speedster himself.

Fans who came to love The Flash through the current CW show know Barry as the one and only Flash -- until recently, when Barry traveled to a timeline where Wally West was The Flash. Since the timeline was restored, fans have been asking the same question -- when is Wally going to get his speed powers and team up with Barry? New photos from the Nov. 15 episode of the show, "Shade," seem to imply that the answer to that question is arriving sooner rather than later.

The bad guy in this season of the Flash has thus far been the mysterious Doctor Alchemy, who has been activating the superpowers of people who had powers in Flashpoint. In photos newly released by The CW, it looks like Alchemy will indeed be involved in activating Wally's speed -- somehow.

In these new photos, Alchemy meets with Wally in his signature shadowy warehouse lair, and looks to be surrounded by worshipers or disciples of some kind. All the CW is telling us is this, the official description of the episode: "When Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) starts having dreams about being Kid Flash, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes he has to tell Wally, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about what happened to Wally in Flashpoint in order to keep him safe."

Whether Wally asks for his powers, or they are given to him against his will, Joe is surely not going to be happy.
