As the release date for “Doctor Strange" approaches, Marvel's been unleashing its typical marketing blitz in promotion for the mystical comic book adaptation. Opening with Mads Mikkelsen’s Kaecilius attacking Strange, the spot then slowly goes back in time, until we’re left with a pre-magic Strange preparing for a surgery.

Marvel has clearly been going for a psychedelic vibe with this film, and they continue to do so in this spot. The first trailer showcased some “Inceptionâ€-esque visuals of buildings collapsing into themselves, and even the most recent posters have mind-bending effects placed on them.
