As the release date for “Doctor Strange" approaches, Marvel's been unleashing its typical marketing blitz in promotion for the mystical comic book adaptation. The most recent ad, a TV spot, shows off how Doctor Strange might use time travel at some point in the film.
In the short video, we’re treated to a trippy look at Stephen Strange's origins. Opening with Mads Mikkelsen’s Kaecilius attacking Strange, the spot then slowly goes back in time, until we’re left with a pre-magic Strange preparing for a surgery.

Marvel has clearly been going for a psychedelic vibe with this film, and they continue to do so in this spot. The first trailer showcased some “Inception”-esque visuals of buildings collapsing into themselves, and even the most recent posters have mind-bending effects placed on them.
Directed by "Sinister's" Scott Derrickson, “Doctor Strange” opens on November 4, 2016.
