The CW has released a new set of official stills from Batwoman showing Kate Kane confronting Alice on the rooftops of Gotham City.
Fresh off its impressive series debut, Batwoman has released the first set of official stills from its upcoming fourth episode, revealing its eponymous superhero confronting her legacy.
Titled "Who Are You?," the photos show Kate in her civilian persona standing by the Bat-Signal on the rooftops of Gotham City with Alice, the deranged leader of the Wonderland Gang who has a very personal connection to the Kane family. Given the more surreal aspects of Alice's character, it is unclear if the entire encounter is mental rather than literal for Kate while Alice is seen preparing to smash the iconic signal with a cricket bat.
The photos also reveal a reunion of sorts between Kate and her estranged ex-girlfriend Sophie Moore. Upon Kate's return to Gotham, she discovered Sophie had gotten married and joined an organization known as the Crows dedicated to defending the city.
Batwoman has posted the best total viewership numbers so far of all the Arrowverse series on The CW this season, hopefully ensuring the DCTV series' success as it joins the fan-favorite television shared universe.
Written by Caroline Dries and developed by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, Batwoman stars Ruby Rose, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Dougray Scott, Elizabeth Anweis and Nicole Kang. The series airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
