New 'Batman v Superman' building sets dawn from LEGO

LEGO has unveiled three new playsets for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that feature the Batwing and a potential a spoiler or two for the Warner Bros. film.

Debuting this morning on The Wall Street Journal's Speakeasy blog, the sets are:

• The 516-piece LEGO Super Heroes United: Sky-High Battle ($50), featuring the aforementioned Batwing with opening cockpit, fold-out wings and rapid shooter, the LexCorp helicopter, and minifigures of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lois Lane and Lex Luthor.

• The 90-piece LEGO Super Heroes Clash of the Heroes ($13), with a buildable Kryptonite bazooka, rotating/exploding Bat-Signal and minifgures of Superman and armored Batman.

• The 300-piece LEGO Super Heroes Kryptonite Interception ($30), with a Batmobile with two stud shooters and opening doors, a forklift for Kryptonite, and minifgures of Batman and two LexCorp henchmen.

LEGO will likely release more details later today. All three sets go on sale Jan. 1. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives March 25.
