The latest promo for "Assassin's Creed" sends Michael Fassbender's Callum Lynch into the past, where he experiences life as an assassin leaping across rooftops in 15th-Century Spain. The movie, which hits theaters next month, deepens the mystery around the Templar organization as well as the dark web that Lynch's ancestor is part of.

Based on the bestselling video game series of the same name, "Assassin's Creed" stars Michael Fassbender as Callum, a man who uses revolutionary genetic technology to experience his ancestor Aguilar's Spanish Inquisition adventures. As Aguilar, a member of a secret society of assassins, Lynch takes on the powerful Templar organization in the past as well as the present.
