The Expendables star will make his debut as Konstantin Kovar in next week's Arrow episode.
After being announced back in August, the latest promo photos from the CW's "Arrow" gives fans what they've been waiting for: pics of Dolph Lundgren mixing it up with Oliver Queen. The '80s action icon and "Expendables" star will make his debut in next week's episode, an installment titled "So It Begins."
But don't expect the "Rocky" actor to square off against Arrow or any of Star City's vigilante's; the photos confirm that Lundgren's character, Konstantin Kovar, will run across Oliver Queen in the flashback storyline set in Russia. Lundgren's appearance in these pics actually comes as a little bit of a surprise; the episode synopsis for "So It Begins," which can be read below, doesn't mention his involvement. It was previously assumed Lundgren would debut in the next episode of the season, "Vigilante." Surprise, you're getting some Dolph action a week earlier!
